Another view from our hotel room... |
As I said before: nice shopping malls... |
 |

Yes, in Sydney, people also know Belgian quality food &
drinks (here an add for Lindemans). |
To further prove this: the "Good Food Month"
with Belgian strawberries and Belgian chocolate shaped in the form of a
Belgian "Red Devil". |
 |
 |
A view from Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens. |
|
 |
 |
A lot of weird birds... |
but also nice tropical species. |

The government's house. |
Sydney Harbour Bridge |
 |
 |
And the Opera House |
|
 |
 |
The same Opera House, at night (hope you have good eyes
and a high screen resolution). |
Erik's dental congress. |

Erik trying again to connect to a WiFi spot. |

It's footy fever... In October, Australia organizes the
world rugby championship. Almost every shop is packed with gold&green
Wallabie shirts, as the Australian national football team is called.
As the Ozzies say: It’s not just a mather of live and death. It’s
a case to make history... A couple of weeks later the Australian dream was
over. Australia lost the final of the tournament after England managed to
score the winning effort in the last seconds of the game.

 |
That's it for now. I'll try to post some new pictures soon.
I hope Erik will soon find some time to write some travel reports himself,
but of course, he has to go to his congress during the first week while
I can fully enjoy my holidays!
Please acknowledge that I'm only in Australia for about
3 weeks, and I'd rather see the country than to spend my time on the internet.
So, if there are any mistakes on the site, please don't shoot me. Rather
mail me so I can correct them...
As for now, g'nite maties!!
